Please join AARP Chicago virtually as we honor Women’s History Month.

AARP Chicago presents a discussion with media maven Deborah Olivia Farmer and scholar and activist Carol L. Adams, founder and CEO of Urban Prescriptives, Inc., a consulting firm that specializes in program and organizational development for educational, social, cultural and philanthropic institutions. After more than 20 years of working in Chicago broadcast newsrooms, Farmer founded the communications firm Brown Farmer Media Group, Inc.

Don’t miss this candid conversation as Farmer interviews Adams about her storied career, including her social marketing work in which she coined taglines such as “Bring It on Own Home,” for the Obama Presidential Center, and “See Something, Say Something,” now licensed by the Department of Homeland Security.
