Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community and state? AARP Kansas can help.

Our team of volunteers and staff work in communities all across our state advocating on issues that impact Kansans age 50 and older. Currently, we work in a virtual environment.

Our advocacy volunteers monitor legislation, testify on bills, and connect with legislators across the state by phone, email and Zoom. Volunteers educate and inform city and county officials, state legislators, state elected officials and members of the Kansas Congressional delegation about AARP so they know where we stand on particular issues such as consumer protection, caregiving, healthcare, financial security, utility access and affordability, nursing home care and more. We work on local, state and national issues.

We could not accomplish our work without the time, talent and commitment that volunteers devote to their areas of interest and expertise.  And we have fun too!

If you are looking for ways to give back to your state or community, please consider becoming an AARP volunteer.  For more information, or if you have questions, please contact Andrea Bozarth at 1-866-448-3619 or ksaarp@aarp.org.
