The extravaganza includes evening performances at the Louisiana Superdome featuring such artists as Ciara, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and Maxwell. Free daytime events include speeches by author Terry McMillan and dancer Misty Copeland at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
