Help Create an Age-Friendly Howard County

Attention, residents of Howard County! Here is a chance to have your say on how to make Howard County Age-Friendly by completing the Age-Friendly Howard County Survey.

Outdoor Group Portrait Of Senior Friends

In December 2019, AARP Maryland, County Executive Calvin Ball and the Howard County Department of Aging announced Age-Friendly Howard County, an initiative to improve the quality of life for all residents that want to live, work, play and age in our County. An Age-Friendly community is one that enables people of all ages and abilities to actively participate in community activities; receive affordable and accessible transportation, housing, and quality health care services; and enjoy green spaces and outdoor parks.

Now its time for you to provide your input to this exciting project! County officials are seeking a large and diverse response to the survey from people 16+ and older. All responses are anonymous. Click through to Age Friendly Howard County to share your insights.
