Volunteer with AARP Experience Corps and Make a Positive Difference in the Life of a Child

Experience Corps

The City of Baltimore and AARP are teaming up to help Baltimore City students. AARP Foundation Experience Corps is an intergenerational volunteer-based tutoring program that is proven to help children who aren’t reading at grade level become great readers by the end of third grade.

We're looking for volunteers ages 50 and older to tutor elementary students during the 2023-24 school year!

According to one Experience Corps tutor, “I believe in helping our students to be the best they can be and helping them to reach their full potential. It takes a village with different types of people to impact our youths."

This program is facilitated in Baltimore with Elev8 and the Y in Central Maryland.
