Johns Hopkins Seeks Family Caregivers of People with Dementia

If you are a caregiver for someone diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia living at home, find out if you qualify for the MEMORI Corps research study at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. This research study is offering free virtual companionship and personalized activities to people living at home with dementia to test whether these kinds of services can improve health and well-being.

Call 410-550-6744 or visit MEMORI Corps online to learn more.

The MEMORI Corps program is delivered in a flexible way—including virtually—to ensure the safety of everyone involved during the COVID-19 pandemic. You can get involved and join the study in one of two ways:

  1. Healthy volunteers 55 years and older can participate as Companion Guides, and
  2. People diagnosed with dementia and their family caregiver living at home can join.

Half of the qualified study participants will be involved in the intervention program immediately, and the other half will be offered the intervention program after a waiting period. Call 410-550-6744 or visit MEMORI Corps to find out if you qualify.
