AARP Massachusetts Executive Council is looking for a new member.

With some members of the AARP Massachusetts Executive Council reaching the end of their term, applications are now open one position.

The AARP Massachusetts Executive Council (EC) is a volunteer board that provides strategic direction for AARP at the Massachusetts state level. It is led by State President Sandra Harris and each member brings their unique skills and experience to the board. You can expect to meet once a month and collaborate with the AARP Massachusetts staff regularly.

Executive Council members also represent the state office as spokespersons at public events and serve as liaisons to current and potential strategic community partners. They also lead and support volunteer team building, and conduct outreach efforts within various regions of the state. These regions include, but are not limited to, the congressional districts of which these members reside. To this end, we hoping to fill these seat with applicants who reside in the 3rd or 6th congressional districts but the application process is open to all.
