Teach Driver Safety Through Our AARP Smart Driver Program!

Driver Safety Program
Volunteer instructors are needed to help older people brush up on their driving skills.

Did you know there are more than 90 million drivers age 50+ nationwide, and yet AARP Driver Safety reaches just 1 percent of them annually? Especially as driving distractions increase so does the need for safer highway and roadways with alert and fully informed drivers -- and this is where you can help!

We're looking for two volunteers to serve as classroom instructors for our AARP Smart Driver course. After you receive training and resources to make the job easy and fun, you'll teach the course at community centers, libraries, hospitals, senior centers, and other places.
