AARP Michigan believes any election reform legislation should protect and enhance access to voting and ensure safety for voters 50 and older and others who participate in the process.
Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson and Attorney General Dana Nessel join AARP Michigan for a telephone town hall and a televised interview. Voters should feel confident that the election will be safe and the results accurate, they said.
All eligible adults can now use an absentee ballot with no excuse necessary, after voters approved a constitutional amendment in 2018. They can also register to vote up through Election Day.
