Mississippians go to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 7, to elect a governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state, attorney general, members of the Legislature and other offices.
The deadline to register is Tuesday, Oct. 10. Register in person at your circuit or municipal clerk’s office, or when getting a driver’s license. Register by mail with your circuit clerk; applications must be postmarked by Oct. 10.
Voters who are 65 or older, have a permanent or temporary physical disability or are temporarily residing outside their county of residence may vote absentee by mail. Absentee ballots are available starting Saturday, Sept. 23, at your circuit clerk’s office and must be postmarked by Election Day and received by Tuesday, Nov. 14.
