Bi-weekly Concert Series Brings Montana’s Biggest Artists to People across the State in the comfort and safety of their own homes
AARP Montana is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the highly acclaimed 11th & Grant concert series presented by Montana PBS. As the coronavirus pandemic continues to cancel concert events statewide, AARP Montana is helping to deliver quality music performances to people in the safety and comfort of their own homes.
“As a longtime sponsor of community events and concerts, we wanted to do something special for music fans,” said AARP Montana State Director Tim Summers. “Until live music events return, this is a way for thousands of fans to stay connected to their favorite Montana artists, while staying safe at home.”
The Montana PBS series 11th & Grant is the premier outlet for music performances in Montana, seeking out the state's most acclaimed, accomplished, and pioneering talent. The Emmy-winning performance series also devotes significant time to each artist's personal story, insights into their music and their approach to life, ultimately providing a deeper experience than a seat at a concert.
“We are pleased to sponsor this great Montana tradition,” concluded Summers. “Folks across Big Sky Country are invited to tune-in to 11th & Grant every-other Thursday at 7 pm on your local PBS station for an evening filled with music brought to you by some of the best musicians in the state.”
Now in its thirteenth season, 11th & Grant performances are recorded at KUSM-TV studios, located at 11th Avenue and Grant Street in Bozeman. The Montana PBS production crew is able to capture the highest quality audio and video through its state-of-the-art soundstage resulting in a high definition, immersive multi-media experience for viewers. The series is hosted by composer, musician and Montana State University faculty member Eric Funk, who also serves as the series’ artistic director.
AARP Montana’s sponsorship of the bi-weekly concert series 11th & Grant continues through the end of 2020.
