The AARP Pickleball Clinic Tour is coming to Helena, Montana on Monday August 11 and we are excited to offer you a chance to learn and play this popular sport! The clinic will consist of an on-court guided session with licensed instructors and focus on warm up, basic technique, skills building, and game play for players of all levels. Pickleball is a fun way to connect with friends, stay fit* and support your brain to help your health and happiness live as long as you do.
Registration is FREE and limited to the first one hundred (100) people who sign-up through the link provided. Participants must sign a General Liability Waiver.
Participants will also get a chance to learn about the six pillars for better brain health and exciting opportunities to get involved with AARP Montana in your community. We hope to see you on the court!

Intro to Pickleball 5:00 - 6:30 PM
- Dive into the world of pickleball with our fun Intro to Pickleball Clinic! Designed for players new to the sport, these clinics offer an interactive way to learn the sport of pickleball. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the basics, from understanding the rules to practicing your paddle skills. Get ready for laughter, camaraderie, and a great introduction to the exciting game of pickleball.
Open Play 6:30 - 8:00 PM
- Open play is a drop-in format that allows players of all levels to practice their skills in a game format. During open play, our experienced instructors will keep things moving, directing players on and off the court by skill level. It's an opportunity for both beginners and seasoned players to enjoy the game, make new friends, and stay active.
"This pickleball clinic aims to introduce the joy of pickleball to those new to the sport, providing a fun and engaging way to stay active," said Tim Summers, AARP Montana State Director. "The event is free and open to everyone regardless of age or AARP membership status."
