AARP Montana is pleased to welcome two new team members to the AARP Montana State Office.

Kristin Riser was selected as the new Business Operations Analyst. She has a varied background in finance and risk management.
Prior to joining AARP, she held roles in the Anti-Money Laundering Department at Goldman Sachs and on the Financial Planning and Analysis team at OneMain Financial. Her expertise bridges regulatory compliance, data-driven financial analysis, and effective collaboration across departments.
A Helena native, Kristin combines her love of community with a global perspective, having volunteered internationally on a range of nonprofit projects. A true outdoor enthusiast, she enjoys backpacking, fishing, canyoneering, traveling, snowboarding, mountain biking, and capturing wildlife through photography — primarily bears.
Kristin replaced Loraine Wodnik who retired after nearly three years in the position.

Marcus Meyer was recently selected as the new Community Engagement Director. He is a Helena, Montana native and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Carroll College. He began his career with the State of Montana, where he spent thirteen years serving in key roles within the Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education and the Office of Consumer Protection under the Attorney General’s Office. Marcus is a fraud prevention expert and organized AARP, AmeriCorps and other volunteers to help fight fraud throughout the state.
Most recently, Marcus served as the Director of Operations, Membership and Finance for the School Administrators of Montana, where he provided strategic leadership and oversight.
Outside of work, Marcus enjoys fly fishing, cross-country and downhill skiing, and exploring Montana’s great outdoors with his wife and their son. He is excited to bring his experience and passion for service to AARP Montana.
Marcus replaces Nancy Andersen who retired after 26 years of service to AARP.
“We are thrilled that Kristin and Marcus have joined our small but mighty team in the AARP Montana State Office,” said Summers. “And we are looking forward to working with them to further our mission to empower Montanans to choose how they live as they age.”
