Stay Active and Connected During the Pandemic With Virtual Events

Virtual Viewing Party Social Media Cutline

AARP New Mexico is encouraging members and others to stay connected and have fun by participating in virtual activities during the COVID-19 pandemic

Two healthy-living classes—Gentle Yoga and Balance and Beyond—had more than 50 people join in daily over the summer. The classes will continue in the coming months and are free and open to the public, through a partnership with the Villages of Santa Fe.

Other online events are expected to include telephone town halls with officials who will discuss COVID-19 and staying healthy this fall, as well as caregiver mixers and AARP’s popular Movies for Grownups.
