On Thursday February 23, we will present the film Life’s Essentials with Ruby Dee. For 57 years, Ruby Dee and Ossie Davis remained one of Hollywood’s most iconic couples, with their achievements in love, activism, and art paralleling nearly a century of change in America. This film, through pointed questions, revealing conversations, and never-before seen family archival materials, shares the timeless wisdom from both Ruby Dee and Ossie Davis. The film will be shown at the East Cleveland Public Library 14101 Euclid Avenue, East Cleveland, 44112.

Admission is free , however we ask that you RSVP online to reserve your seat. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for both screenings.
