Caregivers and job seekers can find support and resources at events hosted by AARP in Cincinnati this month.

CAREversations, lightly facilitated discussions about family caregiving, will be held at local restaurants. Attendees can connect and exchange tips with fellow caregivers, as well as learn about local resources.

Upcoming meetups will be held on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. They include June 20 at Buca di Beppo, 2635 Edmondson Road in Norwood and June 27 at Maggiano’s Little Italy, 7875 Montgomery Road in Cincinnati.

AARP is also supporting job seekers with “Supercharge Your Job Search, Networking and Interview Skills” workshops. The free, interactive events will include information on online job search boards, interview preparation and local resources. Attendees can also have a profile photo taken.

Two upcoming workshops are scheduled on Wednesdays at Cincinnati public libraries. They will be on June 21, 2:30 p.m., at the Harrison branch, 10398 New Haven Road in Harrison, and on June 28, 11:30 a.m., at the Bond Hill branch, 1740 Langdon Farm Road in Cincinnati.

All of these events are open to the public. To learn more and to register, go to aarp.org/local.
