AARP OK opposes PSO's proposed $170 million utility rate, urges customers to say #No2PSO

AARP Oklahoma urges Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) customers and Oklahoma Corporation Commission to reject PSO's $170 million utility rate hike proposal. If approved by Corporation Commissioners, Dana Murphy, Bob Anthony, and Todd Hiett, PSO's customer bills will increase $14 a month or $168 per year.

"PSO is seeking another exorbitant rate increase, and, once again, as party to the case, AARP Oklahoma will continue to fight on behalf of residential customers. Last time they asked for a rate increase of $133 million, but in the end it was determined they only needed 419 million," Sean Voskuhl, AARP Oklahoma State Director. "We need you, the PSO customer to raise your voice before PSO raises your rates."

Electric utilities rely on your silence to pass ever-increasing rates. PSO customers need to contact Corporation Commissioners Murphy, Anthony and Hiett and say #No2PSO by calling 1-844-248-8224 or send your email TODAY to the Commissioners and tell them you can't afford another rate increase.
