Vaccination Resources, Health and Food Help During COVID-19 Outbreak in Oklahoma

The Oklahoma State Department of Health announced that Oklahoma will open COVID-19 vaccine eligibility to all residents over age 16 beginning Monday, March 29. Additionally, it announced residents from neighboring states and beyond are eligible to receive the vaccine beginning April 8.

In the face of the coronavirus pandemic, AARP Oklahoma is providing information and resources to help older Oklahomans and those caring for them protect themselves from the virus and help prevent the spread to others.

LIFE Senior Services: Provides assistance to seniors who do not have internet or email access to register for the vaccine online

2-1-1: Connection to vaccine-resource information, transportation services and registration; services vary by location in Oklahoma

Vaccine Hotline: call 800-232-0233 toll-free to talk to a call center representative who can provide information about locations that offer the shots. Assistance is provided in English, Spanish and many additional languages. In addition, there's a TTY line for callers who are hearing impaired.

- Due to the rapidly emerging updates statewide on vaccine opportunities, we encourage you to reach out to your local county health department for any new updates that may not be available on our webpage. Link provides contact information for 68 county health departments and two independent city-county health departments serving the 77 counties in Oklahoma.

Tribal Vaccine Options
- Multiple Oklahoma Native American tribes are now offering vaccinations for both tribal and non-tribal citizens.

Federal Retail Pharmacy Program - CLICK HERE

- Some physician offices are receiving limited volumes of vaccine resources. AARP is not provided with specific information on physician office vaccine availability, so we encourage you to speak directly with your provider to inquire about availability.
