AARP Rhode Island is hosting a paint night during National Caregivers Month to support the estimated 134,000 family caregivers in the state.
Enjoy an evening of creativity, friendship and fun at “The He(art) of the Caregiver” event, where members can create a work of art for themselves or as a gift for the caregivers in their lives. Participants may also give this evening out to a caregiver as respite.
Occurring on Thursday, Nov. 29, at 7 p.m., the event will be held at Paint & Vino, 150 Main St., Pawtucket.
Art instructors will assist budding artists while they nibble on appetizers and sip wine, beer or nonalcoholic drinks.
Admission is $20 and includes all paints and materials.
