Glimpse an Inside Look at the Capitol

AARP invites members and other residents to get an inside look at the Rhode Island State House in Providence this month.

Guided by State House staff, you’ll explore the legislative chambers, the State Room, the library and other historic points of interest.

You’ll also get the chance to meet advocacy volunteers and learn more about AARP’s push for lower prescription drug prices.

The tour takes place Tuesday, Sept. 24, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Park for free at the AARP office, at 10 Orms St., Providence, and ride a shuttle to and from the State House. Registration is required.
