Make Your Voice Heard in Pierre - Join Us For Lobby Day!

As a wise friend and fierce defender, AARP South Dakota maintains a presence in Pierre to keep an eye on issues that are important to the 50 plus.

We're inviting you to join us for our 2023 Lobby Day on Tuesday, January 24, to experience firsthand what happens during the South Dakota Legislative Session. The day includes transportation from select communities to Pierre and back, along with lunch at the Capitol and an evening meal on the return trip. 

This event is FREE, but registration is required as seating is limited. Only one name can be entered per registration. Please include phone or email in case of cancellation due to bad weather.

Here is a quick look at the agenda for the day:

• 10:30am: Participants arrive at the Capitol
• 11:30am: Lunch with Legislators
• 1:00pm: Group Picture in the Rotunda
• 2:00pm: View House and/or Senate in Session
• 3:30pm: Participants depart from Capitol
