AARP has a long history of supporting those who have served in the United States armed forces, and we take pride in helping them navigate life’s transitions. Our veterans’ initiative supports retired and active-duty military and their families across the nation with FREE valuable resources, including:

Military Caregiving Support: Caregivers of veterans start younger and care longer. AARP provides several free tools to help you on your caregiver journey, including a special Military and Veterans Caregiving Guide.

AARP Veterans Fraud Center: Veterans and service members are 40% more likely to lose money to scams than civilians. The Veterans Fraud Center has free resources, like the Watchdog Alert Handbook for Veterans.

Veterans and Military Spouses Job Center: Get FREE online courses, a job-search toolkit tailored to military and their spouses, resume tools, and access to AARP’s resume builder service and job board with a ‘Veterans Wanted’ box at AARP.org/VetsJobCenter.

Connecting to Earned Benefits: Our Veterans Health Benefits Navigator helps veterans and caregivers find the right info to enroll in health plans from VA, Medicare and more.

Membership Offer for Veterans: If you are a veteran, active duty military or a military family member, learn how to take advantage of the up to 43% membership discount and free gift. You've worked so hard to protect and serve; now let us do what we do best…fight to protect and defend the benefits you have worked so hard for.
