Swing Into Summer With Sioux Falls Baseball

AARP Night at the Birdcage is back—meaning discounts on Canaries’ baseball tickets and stadium refreshments that are good enough to sing about.

Your $15 ticket includes seats along the first baseline and a voucher for a hot dog, chips and drink.

The discounts, available to both AARP members and nonmembers, are for the Wednesday, June 14, game against the Winnipeg Goldeyes. First pitch is at 6:35 p.m. The Canaries compete in the 12-team American Association of Professional Baseball and play at Sioux Falls Stadium, also known as the Birdcage, at 1001 N. West Ave.

At all home games during the season, AARP will air announcements about fraud and identity theft scams over the public address system every time a base is stolen. Impostor scams and identity theft were the top two types of fraud in South Dakota in 2022, according to Federal Trade Commission data.
