AARP Washington is looking for our next State President, the top volunteer position that provides high-level strategic advice, oversees the Executive Council and diverse volunteer corps, and advocates for people ages 50 and older.
The State President helps position AARP Washington to achieve the AARP vision, mission, and strategic priorities. The State President actively supports volunteers, serves as a key spokesperson on AARP’s national and state issues, and helps develop and execute Washington State priorities.
If you are an experienced leader with a strong knowledge of our state’s demographics and political environment, this position is for you. The State President serves two years, with an option from the Washington State Director to renew.
