AARP Eye Center
It’s a new year, and the AARP West Virginia Capital Advocacy Team is ready to spring into action when the legislature convenes Jan. 10.
AARP staff and volunteers will meet with lawmakers throughout the session to discuss legislation that affects caregiving, financial security, broadband access, and funding for home and community-based services. In addition, AARP is working with health care providers to ensure smooth transitions from hospital to home for patients and their family caregivers under a state law enacted in 2015.
