Riverworks to Install Plaques Alongside Art on Milwaukee's Beerline Trail Ssing AARP Wisconsin's Small Dollar, Big Impact Funding
The Riverworks Development Corporation has received the AARP Wisconsin Small Dollar, Big Impact Grant. They plan to use the $1,000 to install plaques alongside artists’ murals and other projects on the Beerline Trail in Milwaukee.
In rural areas, about a third of Wisconsin residents lack reliable internet service. Affordable high-speed internet is top of AARP Wisconsin's advocacy agenda.
More than $3.2 million in projects across the country are funded through 2021 Community Challenge grants. AARP Wisconsin will be distributing $88,000 to six grantees for local projects.
