Dancing in the Streets

Have you ever ‘dance-walked’ before? No? Well we have just the opportunity for you! AARP in St. Louis is joining in on the fun with Trailnet for the “Share The Street Party”. We are sponsoring the ‘Dance-Walk’ through the downtown which includes a ‘Boogie @ the Ballpark’ and invite you to join in on the fun!

The Old Post Office Plaza will be the scene for this street party that has something for everyone. Local food vendors! Local craft beer! Local artist’s demonstrations - showcasing the talented people from our St. Louis neighborhoods. The “Share The Street Party” starts at 11am on September 20th and includes free live music from noon until 7. The St. Louis Blues Society presents music from St. Louis Steady Grinders …Skeet Rogers and the Inner City Blues Band …The St. Louis Guitar Slingers …The Funky Butt Brass Band’…and…Marsha Evans and The Coalition.

Come join us at this all day celebration to raise awareness on making St. Louis an even better place for walking and biking!! Let us know if you want to take part in the ‘Dance-Walk’ which will begin at noon by clicking here. We will have a special gift for those that contact us in advance that can be used as we are strutting our stuff down the streets of downtown St. Louis.
