Established in 1987, the Pennsylvania State Office of AARP is located in downtown Harrisburg, with an additional office in Philadelphia.

Serving 1.8 members in the state, AARP Pennsylvania is working to enhance the quality of life for all Pennsylvanians as they age.

Long Term Care: In Pennsylvania, AARP is working to protect long term care services for seniors including home and community based services.

Social Security and Medicare: AARP is working to strengthen Social Security and Medicare for senior, near-retirees and future generations.

Utilities: AARP  Pennsylvania is working to educate Pennsylvania residents age 50+  who are concerned about the rising costs of electricity in their homes and to ensure the proper consumer protections are in place.

Volunteerism: AARP has a long history of volunteerism and the important contributions AARP volunteers make to their communities, neighbors and the programs they serve.  We always welcome new volunteers to serve in a variety of roles with AARP Pennsylvania
