Get Inside the Mind of Scam Artists at May Event

Fighting back against fraud and scams requires understanding how con artists think and operate.

AARP Arizona is here to help you get inside their heads. Join AARP for an in-person Fraud Watch Forum on Saturday, May 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Musical Instrument Museum, 4725 E. Mayo Blvd., Phoenix. Attendees will hear from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Arizona, the Arizona Attorney General’s Office and others.

In 2022, Arizona consumers filed nearly 44,000 fraud reports, with $174 million in losses, according to the Federal Trade Commission. Learn how to protect yourself and others from identity theft and other scams.
