Homemade Face Masks are needed in Arizona

We have learned of a program being offered by Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft. They are providing free kits of materials to the public, who can then use the kits to make facial masks for use in the community. The masks are not going to the hospital settings, but are being given to senior residential communities, for one example. We also learned that if the person sewing the masks has an outlet where they wish to donate the masks, once sewn, that is also a good way to get them into the hands of people who could use them.

The Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft stores are passing the kits out to make the masks. They are free and once the masks are finished they should be returned to the store for donation.

Each kit contains all the necessary materials to make 5 masks. There is a limit of 15 kits per day per person. They ask that no one take more than they are willing to make in a brief period of time. They should be returned promptly.

The kits can be obtained by going to Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft store and asking at the front register. Call ahead to be sure kits are in stock at the store near you.
