Join Fellow Arizonans to Question State Lawmakers About Caregiving, Fraud Protection, Utility Rates

Legislation

For the second pandemic year in a row, AARP Arizona is hosting a virtual Day at the Legislature for members to hear from state lawmakers and AARP leaders on issues important to older Arizonans.

The Zoom event will be held Tuesday, April 26, at 10 a.m. Participants can question lawmakers and policy experts during a discussion moderated by Dana Kennedy, state director for AARP Arizona. “It is fundamental that our legislators see and hear from us, our volunteers and our members,” she says.

AARP Arizona has advocated in the legislature to protect retirement income, to secure long-term care for older Arizonans, to support family caregivers, to prevent financial exploitation, to keep utility rates affordable and to promote livable communities.
