Tempe Dementia Friendly Summit Makes Video Available to Everyone

A brain shape from puzzles as a symbol of mental health and memory problems and Alzheimer disease.

The Tempe Dementia Friendly Summit recently took place in Tempe, AZ on November 18th, 2023.

It was a full house at the 7th annual Dementia Friendly Tempe summit with people interested in exploring the topic of “What if Alzheimer’s Could Be Predicted and Prevented Before It was Too Late?” and learning from area experts who focused on blood and genetic testing.

One of the event organizers noted to the audience: "You would have to go to a national meeting to hear such experts on the subject".

Tempe Summit organizers recorded the summit and have now made the summit video available to anyone interested in the information. Those interested in viewing the videos can see them on the Tempe11 YouTube channel by going to our summit web page.

Within the video, you will also hear about dementia resources and information including the city’s Memory Café, a free program for caregivers and their loved ones experiencing memory loss.
