AARP Eye Center

In a recent (February 5) press conference at the Arkansas State Capitol, AARP Arkansas stood with other organizations concerned about the impact proposed utility rate hikes could have on underserved populations, including older Arkansans living on fixed incomes.
AARP Arkansas' Ashley McBride, State Director, took to the podium to share about why our organization wants to see transparency under the dome and how AARP has worked to protect older Americans across the country from unfair rate hikes.
AARP Arkansas continues to monitor this and other legislation, proposed or otherwise, that could impact Arkansans 50-plus. If you feel passionate about these issues, we invite you to join our A-Team (Advocacy). Just email us at ar@aarp.org with A-Team in the subject line.
