AARP Eye Center

West Memphis is the second city in Arkansas to join the AARP Network of Age-Friendly States and Communities.
The network helps local leaders identify enhancements that serve older adults, such as safer streets, improved transportation options and expanded community activities and services.
Network members conduct a community needs assessment, gathering input from residents to identify service or infrastructure gaps. The network offers national resources, best practices and expert guidance.
The network now has nearly 1,000 members.
