AARP has a goal to protect vulnerable adults and provide their caregivers with the tools necessary to make important decisions. When an older adult plans for the future, they often consider what would happen if they develop difficulty in making decisions. For instance, this might happen if they have a disease that is progressive and could affect their ability to think clearly.

Does your community group, church or business want to learn more about retirement, fraud prevention and other matters affecting people over 50?

AARP is now accepting applications for the 2019 Community Challenge grant program to fund “quick-action” projects that spark change in local communities. The grant program, which is now in its third year, is part of AARP’s nationwide Livable Communities initiative, which aims to make communities great places to live for everyone.

Nearly 1 in 10 Arkansas adults are veterans, and AARP Arkansas is hard at work looking out for them.

AARP Arkansas Speakers Bureau has volunteers ready to present a variety of topics to community organizations, civic groups and churches.

In cases of personal injury or wrongful death in a medical setting, Arkansas residents and their families can sue for damages.
