AARP Eye Center
Nearly a tenth of the state’s adults are military veterans, and AARP Arkansas is committed to helping them get the benefits they deserve.
On Thursday, Nov. 12, the day after Veterans Day, AARP Arkansas will join in a one-hour television panel discussion at 7 p.m. on Arkansas PBS on the benefits and services available to veterans. The panel will have representa- tives from veterans assistance organizations and Charlie Wagener, AARP state president and a West Point graduate and retired lieutenant colonel.
Arkansas is home to more than 220,000 former service members. AARP provides free resources to veterans and military families during the COVID-19 pandemic. Go to aarp.org/veterans for more information.
