Age-friendly Health Care campaign Invitation

This past spring, Changing the Narrative launched our Age-friendly Health Care campaign .

Our goal? To make consumers, as well as current and upcoming professionals more aware of ageism in health care, how it shows up, the costs to us personally as well as to society if we don't do something about it, and actions—large and small—we can take to address it.

In anticipation of the campaign, last December we partnered with the Boulder County Area Agency on Aging to develop a short video that could be used for presentations and as part of larger workshops to stimulate discussion and action to address ageism in healthcare.

So we're thrilled to announce the first public viewing. On November 17, at 10 a.m. MT, we're doing a special showing, followed by a conversation with some of the healthcare professionals and older adults featured in the film.
