Foothills Art Center Volunteer Opportunity

AARP would like you to know of a volunteer opportunity at Foothills Art Center, as a Gallery Volunteer for the Edgar Degas: The Private Impressionist exhibition. No experience or art knowledge is necessary! Morning & afternoon shifts are available, including weekends. • Meet new people; other volunteers and visitors to the exhibition.

• Enjoy free admission to fascinating exhibition-related lectures, by the collector behind the artwork in the exhibition, and the Foothills Art Center curator.

• Feel good about supporting Foothills Art Center, a non-profit organization committed to leading and inspiring the community through art, education and cultural excellence.

They are looking for volunteers from April 6  through  June 30, 2013 to help at the Foothills Art Center ( map it).   There are two volunteer shifts available Tuesday through Sunday (exhibition is closed on Mondays).  The morning shift is  is 10 am to 1:30 pm and the  afternoon shift is 1:30 pm to 5 pm.
