Are you interested in learning about different illnesses and diseases that affect many lives? Join AARP Georgia for the first discussion of the Living with Series on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020, at 11 a.m. via Zoom. The first event will focus on how prostate cancer affects families and entire communities. The event is free, but registration is required.

“I’m excited that even during uncertain times, we can still virtually engage and educate our people who are living with various obstacles by offering them resources and information that can improve their situation,” Garrett Davis said.

Playwright and Founder of GDavis Production, Garrett Davis, will moderate a panel discussion on the number one health disparity affecting men. Other presenters for this event include AARP Georgia volunteer and U.S. Air Force Vietnam Veteran, Gary Cecil and the Founder of Prostate Health Education Network (PHEN), Thomas Farrington.

“I’m excited to be a part of the first Living with Series focusing on prostate cancer. I anticipate that the information that I provide will help someone in need,” Thomas Farrington said.
