AARP Georgia Welcomes New Comms Manager

This week AARP Georgia announced the hiring of Nicole Emmett to serve in the role of Communications Manager. Emmett will assume responsibility for oversight of AARP messaging online as well as on social media.

"I am so excited to be at AARP and further the organization's important mission of helping the 50-plus to live life as they choose," Emmett said.

Emmett is an award-winning writer with more than a decade of experience in communications. No stranger to Atlanta media, she spent six years in the newsroom at WSB as digital content producer. Emmett is a bilingual fluent Spanish speaker skilled in Spanish composition. She is a graduate of Auburn University, where she earned a BA in Journalism and a BA in Spanish.
