It's that time of year, and hear are the dates to mark on your calendars. The 50+ age group is known for voting, and this election season is no reason to stop that trend.

According to ajc.com, “Voters can check whether they’re registered, find out where to vote, apply for absentee ballots and view sample ballots online at the state’s My Voter Page at www.mvp.sos.ga.gov. The GA SOS app provides the same information.”
If you're planning to vote early, here are a few tips.
- Early voting locations and times can be found on the county registrar’s website. Voters may vote at early voting locations beginning the 4th Monday prior to the election. Voters are not required to provide a reason for voting early. When casting your vote in person, you must present an appropriate photo ID.
- Arrive in person at any early voting location in your county
- Check in at the registration desk and follow the instructions to cast your vote
- Cast your vote and it will be securely stored.
- Early voting locations can be found on the website www.mvp.sos.ga.gov
Participants may register to vote or change party affiliation by meeting these requirements:
• Be a citizen of the United States
• Be a legal resident of Georgia and of the county in which you wish to vote
• Be at least 18 years of age to vote and 17 ½ to register
• Have not been found mentally incompetent by the court
• Are not serving a felony conviction of moral turpitude (it is a legal concept that refers generally to conduct that shocks the public conscience. Offenses such as murder, voluntary manslaughter, kidnapping, robbery, and aggravated assaults involve moral turpitude.)
