On AARP Idaho’s annual Lobby Day, set for Monday, Feb. 3, dozens of members and volunteers will be at the capitol to highlight legislative priorities important to older state residents.
This year, AARP Idaho will emphasize increased broadband access for caregivers, implementation of the state’s new Medicaid expansion that voters approved last year and creation of retirement savings options for employees without access to such plans at work.
AARP Idaho encourages members to join in the show of support on Lobby Day, which includes a capitol tour, meetings with lawmakers and lunch in the rotunda.
