Escape to the Garden on Summer Nights

With the arrival of summer, it’s time to resume a favorite Idaho tradition, the Great Garden Escape. The Idaho Botanical Garden’s live music festival in Boise features concerts on Thursday evenings from June 8 through Sept. 7.

AARP members who buy tickets in person can get a discount for themselves and one guest. Show your AARP membership card to get the $7 price in advance at the box office or same day at the gate.

AARP Idaho encourages music fans to grab their low-back lawn chairs and blankets and head to the garden. Festivalgoers can bring a picnic and nonalcoholic beverages or enjoy snacks and drinks from on-site vendors. Music fans are welcome to stop by the AARP Idaho table at each concert to pick up information about caregiving and fraud.
