Get Answers to Questions About Medicare

As Medicare open enrollment gets under way, state Insurance Director Dean Cameron will answer questions about the program during a tele-town hall sponsored by AARP Idaho on Thursday, Oct. 19, at 10 a.m. Anyone who wants to join the conversation can email aarpid@aarp.org for call-in instructions.

Open enrollment runs Oct. 15 to Dec. 7, giving Medicare beneficiaries an opportunity to review their current coverage and consider making changes for next year.

The phone conference also will address how to fight Medicare fraud, which bilks taxpayers out of $60 billion a year.
