AARP Idaho is looking for people who want to make a difference in life, along with learning, having fun and meeting new friends.

At an April 19 networking event, people can learn how to get involved with AARP Idaho’s 400 volunteers. Their work ranges from tax preparation assistance to teaching driver safety classes, facilitating movie nights, hosting fraud prevention workshops, staffing events and advocating for legislative issues. AARP provides training.

New volunteer orientation begins at 1:15 p.m., the network meeting is at 2 p.m., and the social hour begins at 3 p.m.
