AARP Eye Center
AARP Idaho is holding a telephone town hall with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to help people make decisions about Medicare coverage during the program’s annual open enrollment period.
From Oct. 15 to Dec. 7, enrollees can join or switch their Medicare plans. They can also modify their Part D drug coverage, which will see changes in 2024 due to legislation passed in 2022.
Callers can question Louise Ryan, regional administrator for the federal Administration for Community Living, and Sharon Turner, an acting regional director for HHS. AARP Idaho State Director Lupe Wissel will serve as moderator.
The call is Tuesday, Oct. 24, at noon MT. Learn how to listen in at aarp.org/id. Email questions in advance to aarpid@aarp.org.
