Veterans Appreciation Events

AARP Kentucky will sponsor lunch for the Veteran, Caregiver and Family Appreciation Event on November 10 with the Kentuckiana Veteran-Community Integration Coalition and Veteran Community Partnerships. There will be live music, resources, and food as part of the celebration of Veterans, families and caregivers. The event will be held 10 am - 4 pm at Bowman Field (2805 Taylorsville Rd).

On November 11, Age Friendly Louisville (led in part by AARP Kentucky) and Boys & Girls Clubs of Kentuckiana will celebrate Veterans. Youth will hear stories from Veterans of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines. The event will be held 6 pm - 7 pm via Zoom. Visit the event site for information on joining.

AARP Kentucky will sponsor the NABVETS dinner during the VRUCK Week of Valor in Lexington* November 5-12. There will be multiple events throughout the week for Veterans and families.
