AARP Kentucky Lobby Day 2025: Scheduling Update

Due to forecasted severe weather across the state, AARP Kentucky is now pivoting all scheduled Lobby Day activities to virtual meetings only.

All in-person legislative meetings scheduled for Lobby Day 2025 (February 20) need to be cancelled in advance. We are also asking all our grassroots activists and volunteers to cancel travel plans to Frankfort on February 20.

We are now in process of notifying legislators of the need to change our Lobby Day plans. We are asking legislators to meet virtually with our volunteers during their previously scheduled in-person meeting time. Volunteers are asked to call the Legislative Research Commission (502-564-8100) and ask to speak with their legislators.

Volunteer Updates and Virtual Meetings Resources
AARP Kentucky will be sharing updates during this special Zoom meeting for our grassroots activists and volunteers.
