AARP Louisiana Seeks Executive Council Members

Volunteer in Milwaukee County

AARP Louisiana is seeking candidates for three seats on its executive council — one each from Baton Rouge, Lafayette and Monroe to sit on the eight-person body.

The council is the highest-ranking group of volunteers in the state and is responsible for making strategic decisions that impact the lives of nearly 430,000 Louisiana members. Council members serve one-year terms, meeting twice a year in person and twice remotely. Travel is reimbursed.
