AARP Louisiana has a Speakers Bureau whose volunteers give presentations on topics such as fraud prevention, caregiving, health care, veterans resources and more.
Louisiana is home to about 660,000 family caregivers and more than 290,000 veterans, two-thirds of whom are 50 and older. Louisiana ranked 12th in the nation in incidents of fraud complaints per capita reported to the Federal Trade Commission.
